Kimberley O'Neil |
Kimberley O'Neil is an award-winning writer of travel guidebooks specializing in California and Pakistan. She has been writing walking guides for Lonely Planet Publications for almost fifteen years. She first visited South Asia in 1984 and has trekked and travelled extensively in Pakistan, Afghanistan, India and Nepal. She has many years experience in the world of adventure travel. As a former Director of Asian Operations for a North American tour operator, she designed and operated trekking and mountaineering trips throughout the Himalaya and Karakoram. She also works as a consultant on tourism and wildlife conservation in northern Pakistan and in Afghanistan's Wakhan Corridor and the Afghan Pamir. Kimberley and John Mock were married in Kathmandu, Nepal in 1991 and live in California's Sierra Nevada mountains. See Kimberley O'Neil's résumé for further
